Sophie Colangelo practices as an Employment and Labour lawyer and has joined Grondin Savarese in September 2022.
She has obtained her Civil Law degree from the University of Ottawa in 2021.
Sophie is recognized for her analytical approach and her ability to resolve disputes efficiently, particularly in guiding upper and middle management long-tenured employees through the complexities of employment termination, severance packages, amicable resolutions, wrongful dismissals and workplace complaints. Sophie also advises clients on employment agreements, non-competition and non-solicitation clauses.
In February 2026, she completed the Negotiation Mastery program through Harvard Business Online, further strengthening her skills in negotiation and conflict resolution.
Her early experience involved supporting the creation, sale, and purchase of businesses across various industries, as well as developing contractual structures at the operational level.
In addition to her practice, Sophie serves as a director on the board of the Cosmodome, supporting its mission to promote science education within the community.
