Jonathan Pierre-Étienne

Jonathan Pierre-Étienne joined Grondin Savarese in 2014. His areas of expertise are civil and commercial litigation, as well as bankruptcy and insolvency, pleading before all courts in Quebec and the Supreme Court of Canada.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Montreal and a bachelor’s degree in communication, with a specialization in public relations, from Rutgers University in New Jersey.

A former elite American football player in Canada and the United States, Mr. Pierre-Étienne is actively involved in charitable foundations. He is also highly engaged in the legal community, having served as president of the Young Bar of Montreal, secretary of the Bar of Montreal, and president of the board of directors meetings of the Quebec Institute of Law Reform and Justice.

On July 1, 2024, Mr. Pierre-Étienne was appointed president of the Canadian Bar Association (Quebec Division) for the 2024-2025 term.
